To us, "adventurelusts" describe us perfectly - two people that are forever looking forward to the next adventure, be it a trip abroad, renovating the house, making new pottery, or trying a new recipe. Every day is an adventure in our world. This blog will be a collection of our adventures, near and far.

A LITTLE ABOUT US

Born and raised in West Virginia, we met way back in 2006 when we lived across the hall from each other in college. We like to say we didn't have a choice and couldn't stay away from each other because we were both in the Architecture and Honors Programs, but really we became inseparable pretty quickly. We each graduated with our Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2010. We moved to Maryland and went to graduate school together at the University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning and Presentation. What a long, difficult, stressful time that was. Through the support of our family and friends, we made it through graduate school and graduated with our Masters of Architecture in 2012. We found a new family at the local community center's pottery studio, where we have made wonderful friends and peers in the pottery world.

We have been badly bitten by the travel bug. We have traveled to the following places together: Chicago, Illinois; Phoenix, Arizona; Tampa, Florida; New York, New York; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Washington, DC; London, England; Rome & Florence, Italy; Vatican City; Paris & Chartres, France; western Turkey; the Greek island of Kastelorizo; Berlin, Germany; Sri Lanka; Jamaica; southern Belize; Aruba; Iceland; Croatia; Bosnia & Herzegovina; Montenegro; and Slovenia.

We love to cook, throw pots, build stuff, and garden, so be prepared for lots of posts on those topics!

After getting married in October 2013, we have settled into life as architects living in our little house with our two cats, Kas and Meis.
